With God your troubles can be joy.
Endurance, wisdom he’ll deploy.

To give you life, to keep out sin,
For every good gift comes from Him.

Open your ears and shut your mouth.
Let God inside you help you out.

And when you hear, then follow through.
Let God bless all the things you do.

The pure must always watch their tongue.
Help widows and the orphaned young.

Impartially love the rich and poor.
Give mercy and get grace galore.

What good is faith tacked on the wall?
Inactive faith ain’t faith at all.

Your tongue is smaller than your arm,
but tell me which can do more harm?

You tame a tiger - Tame your speech.
Don’t set on fire those you reach.

Don’t bless God then curse those he made.
Don’t use your words like a grenade.

To be wise you must be humble.
Selfishness would make you stumble.

Pursue the wisdom from above,
Of peaceful actions filled with love.

For war is born of selfish greed,
from wanting things we do not need.

The devil flees when you resist.
Draw near to God, he will assist.

And do not boast of what you’ll do,
You’ll go wherever God wants you to.

Beware a life of ease and rest,
You’d rather be etern’lly blessed.

Be patient and in all things pray.
Endure till his returning day.
