Peace to the saints in Ephesus.
Praise to the God who blesses us.

He chose us, then came to redeem,
Revealed the plan of Christ's regime.

All things work out to His ideal.
He gave the Spirit as a seal.

May you know God, now, more and more.
The hope for you he has in store.

God's power raised Christ from the dead
And placed him as the church's head.

We each have walked a sinful path
And for our deeds deserve God's wrath.

Yet still he saved a hopeless case
To show the riches of his grace.

A gift, there's nothing you can do,
Although he has work planned for you.

By peace with all believers, gel.
Together in you God will dwell.

All tribes of humans, unified
Can know Christ's love, so deep and wide.

Now live a life that's worthy of
This calling, you've been called to love.

With patience and humility
In bonds of peace, keep unity.

One God, one Spirit, and one Lord.
One body acting in accord.

One body filled with many gifts
That isn't fooled and never drifts.

But being true to love instead.
We grow to Christ, who is the Head.

Live not like those whom sin confounds,
Whose lust for sex, it knows no bounds.

The old is gone, your mind is new.
Holy and righteous God made you.

Don't lie, or even talk corrupt.
Use words to build another up.

Don't steal. Help your community.
Give Hell no opportunity.

And when you're angry, don't choose bad.
Don't make the Holy Spirit sad.

No malice, fighting, bitter rage.
Be kind - Forgive as Christ forgave.

So follow God. Love others thus:
As Jesus gave himself for us.

Avoid filth and obscenity.
You're saints. Those are idolatry.

To worship sex or greed ain't right.
Once you were darkness. Now you're light.

The light shows what is good, right, true.
Rise from the dead, Christ shines on you.

Live wisely, make the most of time.
Not dissolute with too much wine.

Filled with the Spirit, singing songs
That praise God. Thank him all day long.

Now to each other, each submit,
As reverence for the Lord befits.

Submit, then, to authority,
With God as your priority.

In leadership, now, God's way search.
Love charges like Christ loves the church.

In God and in his pow'r, be strong,
So you can fight against what's wrong.

It's not with people that we fight,
But with the rulers of the night.

Put on God's armor, his command,
To fight the evil, then to stand.

The belt of truth around your waist.
In front of you, the sheild of faith.

With righteousness across you spread,
And with salvation on your head.

With news of peace may you be shod.
Your sword, it is the Word of God.

With perseverance, always pray.
With grace and love along the way.
