| We’ve seen it, touched it, know it’s true: | 1Jn 1:1-2 |

| the only path out of our plight. | 1Jn 1:7 |
| We all have sin, we must confess. | 1Jn 1:9 |
| Denial won’t improve our mess. | 1Jn 1:8,10 |
| We sin, that’s why we need the Christ | 1Jn 2:1 |
| to be atoning sacrifice. | 1Jn 2:2 |
| Then strive to follow his command: | 1Jn 2:3-5 |
| As Jesus stood, so we must stand. | 1Jn 2:6 |
| Think you know God? Well here’s a test: | 1Jn 2:9 |
| How patient are you with a pest? | 1Jn |
| For love and light are intertwined | 1Jn 2:10 |
| But if you hate, you have gone blind. | 1Jn 2:11 |
| Both God and Son have always been. | 1Jn 2:13 |
| Christ took God’s wrath to pay our sin. | 1Jn 2:12 |
| He lives in us and makes us strong, | 1Jn 2:14 |
| to help us overcome what’s wrong. | 1Jn |
| What’s wrong is loving things of earth | 1Jn 2:15 |
| instead of God whose will is worth | 1Jn |
| far more than flesh or pride or lust, | 1Jn 2:16 |
| which soon will disappear like dust. | 1Jn 2:17 |
| There are two sides, and you’re on one: | 1Jn 2:18-22 |
| You either trust or spurn the Son. | 1Jn 2:23-27 |
| We’re only righteous under grace, | 1Jn 2:28-33 |
| but sin is spitting in His face. | 1Jn 3:4-6 |
| We’re Satan’s spawn if sin runs wild, | 1Jn 3:8,10 |
| but righteous if you are God’s child. | 1Jn 3:7,9 |
| To hate is murder in your heart. | 1Jn 3:12-15 |
| For love we have been set apart. | 1Jn 3:11 |
| Love not with words, but with our deeds, | 1Jn 3:18 |
| by helping others with their needs. | 1Jn 3:17 |
| His order’s easy to perceive: | 1Jn |
| Love others and in Christ believe. | 1Jn 3:23 |
| To Truth good spirits testify. | 1Jn 4:1-2 |
| But evil spirits, Christ deny. | 1Jn 4:3-6 |
| He loved us though we chose to sin. | 1Jn 4:9-10 |
| He gave us Christ and lives within | 1Jn 4:12-16 |
| so we can love in the same way, | 1Jn 4:7-8,11 |
| love others though they live astray. | 1Jn 4:19-21 |
| For faith is love is purity, | 1Jn 5:1-4 |
| is life communing with the Three, | 1Jn 5:6-8 |
| is birth of God, hope in his name, | 1Jn 5:9-12 |
| avoiding sin - they’re all the same. | 1Jn 5:16 |
| We’re guarded by God on the throne, | 1Jn 5:18 |
| so trust and worship him alone. | 1Jn 5:21 |
