God made the virgin have a boy.Lk 1:26-38
Made John the fetus leap for joy.Lk 1:39-45
Let two old people hold the king.Lk 2:25-38
Let Jesus learn and Mary sing.Lk 2:39-52 & 1:46-66
Sent John out to the wild to stay.Lk 3:1-14
Sent Jesus to him, then said “Hey”.Lk 3:22
He used the Word to beat Deceit.Lk 4:1-13
Fulfilled the scroll and dodged the heat.Lk 4:14-30
Called average men to follow him.Lk 5:1-11 & 27-32
He healed the sick, forgave their sin.Lk 4:31-44 & 5:12-26
Christ healed on weekdays, weekends too.Lk 6:1-11
Prayed for the Twelve the whole night through.Lk 6:11-16
He told us to love those who hate.Lk 6:27-28
He said to give to those who take.Lk 6:29-30
He blessed the poor from on the mount.Lk 6:20-26
and said it’s what’s inside that counts.Lk 6:43-45
Blind see, deaf hear, dead rise, lame run.Lk 7:18-30
What man can’t do, God does for fun.Lk 1:37
Told stories using debts and seeds.Lk 7:36-50 & 8:4-15
He is the light the whole world needs.Lk 8:16-21
When storms got rough he calmed the waves.Lk 8:22-23
The crazy, bleeding, dead he saves.Lk 8:26-56
The Twelve he sent to roads ahead.Lk 9:1-6
Then thousands ate his fish and bread.Lk 9:10-17
God showed the Twelve he was the One.Lk 9:18-27
Then made his face bright as the sun.Lk 9:28-36
You must be low to be the best.Lk 9:46-50
To follow Christ, forget the rest.Lk 9:57-62
God sent more out, who then returned.Lk 10:1-12 & 10:17-24
The unrepentant will be burned.Lk 10:13-16
Have compassion, don’t just hurry.Lk 10:25-37
Learn and listen, don’t just worry.Lk 10:38-42
Ask for the bread you need to live.Lk 11:1-4
Ask of God, he loves to give.Lk 11:5-13
Jesus blessed the righteous deed.Lk 11:27-36
Then condemned the leaders’ greed.Lk 11:37-54
Speak up for Christ, that is your part.Lk 12:8-12
For what you value gets your heart.Lk 12:22-34
Work for the Father, not for pay.Lk 12:13-21
Act like he’ll return today.Lk 12:35-48
To please the Lord, do as he bids.Lk 13:1-9
To honor God, just love his kids.Lk 13:10-17
Big change comes from small, like yeast.Lk 13:18-21
To come in first, first be the least.Lk 13:22-30
Be humble when you choose your seat.Lk 14:7-11
and share with poor folks when you eat.Lk 14:12-24
You must recognize the cost,Lk 14:25-35
To follow Christ and find the lost.Lk 15:1-32
At death, life cannot be redone.Lk 16:14-31
It’s God or money, choose just one.Lk 16:1-13
Flee sin, grow faith for all your days.Lk 17:1-6
Heaven’s your reward, not praise.Lk 17:7-10
Christ healed to teach us faith is dear.Lk 17:11-19
God’s kingdom is already here.Lk 17:20-37
Our God can use bad men for good.Lk 18:1-8
If you don’t know you’re bad, you should.Lk 18:9-14
Trust God like little children do.Lk 18:15-17
For Christ did not just ride the pew.Lk 18:31-34
Your faith must be in God not wealth.Lk 18:18-30
A blind man’s faith restored his health.Lk 18:35-43
Employ your gifts ‘cause more he’ll bring.Lk 19:11-28
Jesus entered town as King.Lk 19:29-40
He said the city’d be destroyed.Lk 19:41-44
At temple, crowds were overjoyed.Lk 19:45-48
He condemned the leaders’ acts.Lk 20:1-19
Give God your heart, the state its tax.Lk 20:20-26
Beware those who will not repent.Lk 20:27-47
Give like the widow, every cent.Lk 21:1-4
He foretold Tribulation’s hurt.Lk 21:5-28
The Lord told Christians, “Stay alert”.Lk 21:29-38
Then sin in Judas cut a deal.Lk 22:1-6
Jesus served the Passover meal.Lk 22:14-23
He said to lead you first must serve.Lk 22:24-30
Told Peter that he’d lose his nerve.Lk 22:31-34
While Jesus prayed, disciples slept.Lk 22:39-46
Then from the darkness, Judas crept.Lk 22:47-48
With swords they fought for his release.Lk 22:49-50
But Jesus, he maintained the peace.Lk 22:51-53
Peter cried, felt like a traitor.Lk 22:54-62
Christ said he’d sit by the Creator.Lk 22:66-71
Then Pilate gave in to the horde.Lk 23:13-25
With criminals, they killed the Lord.Lk 23:26-43
The sun went dark, the curtain ripped.Lk 23:44-49
They laid his body in a crypt.Lk 23:50-56
But in the tomb he didn’t stay.Lk 24:3
The stone was shortly rolled away.Lk 24:2
Inside instead two dazzling menLk 24:4
Told those with Mary Magdalene:Lk
“He has risen, like he said,Lk 24:6-7
Why look for Life among the dead?”Lk 24:5
The Scripture Christ interpreted.Lk 24:13-29
Revealed himself by breaking bread.Lk 24:30-35
Then the disciples touched him, awed.Lk 24:36-43
He said they’d preach his life abroad.Lk 24:44-49
He blessed them, then went in the sky.Lk 24:50-51
Forever praise the Lord on high.Lk 24:52-53
